Tatum Schulz-Fischbach graduated from the University of Massachusetts with her B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2018. After graduation, she completed the Surgical First Assistant (SFA) program at Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences and was hired as a certified surgical assistant (CSA) in the Department of Gynecology and Urology. Continuing her education, she completed a Master of Arts in Health and Human Services Administration from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2023. With her passion for training and development she joined the faculty for the SFA Program to instill knowledge and skills into the next generation of surgical assistants.
