Registered Nurse/ Education Coordinator
Emory Healthcare
I’m a registered nurse with 15 years of experience in perioperative services. Most of my career has been spent in the OR setting, where I’ve built solid clinical skills and a strong understanding of safe, evidence-based practice. I’ve cared for patients through their most vulnerable times of thier surgical journey and have worked closely with surgeons, anesthesia and support staff to keep care coordinated and smooth.I’ve transitioned into nursing education, which has become a real passion of mine. I enjoy helping nurses grow, whether that’s teaching at the bedside, supporting new staff during orientation or creating education that actually fits the work we do. I focus on making learning practical, clear and grounded in real clinical needs.
Staying current with best practices is important to me, and I’m always looking for ways to improve communication, strengthen workflows and support a culture of safety. My background in perioperative services gives me a strong clinical foundation, and my work in education lets me connect that knowledge to daily practice in a way that supports both staff and patients.
I value teamwork, consistency and an environment where people feel supported in their roles. My goal is to continue using my experience and love for teaching to help develop confident, capable nurses who feel prepared to deliver safe and compassionate care.
