Diana Giron is a dedicated perioperative nurse leader with over a decade of clinical experience and a strong background in surgical nursing. Since earning her RN license in 2011, she has specialized in operating room care, completing Periop 101 and becoming CNOR-certified in 2015. Diana holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Nursing Education, blending clinical expertise with a passion for teaching and mentorship.
Her leadership spans Bariatric, General, and Trauma surgery service lines, where she is known for her direct, results-oriented leadership style. Over the past two years, Diana has successfully transitioned from staff nurse to perioperative leadership, driving improvements in team performance, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency.
Outside of work, Diana enjoys traveling, spending quality time with her family, and relaxing by the beach—activities that help her recharge and stay grounded.
