Nurse Manager
Kaiser Permanente Sacramento Hospital
With over 15 years of diverse experience in clinical and administrative roles, I possess a robust foundation in trauma critical care, dialysis, clinical education, and perioperative nursing services. Since joining Kaiser Permanente in October 2016 as an Assistant Nurse Manager in the ICU, I have spearheaded quality improvement initiatives, including HAPI and mobility committees, and made significant contributions to various ICU patient care projects. A highlight of my tenure was leading the launch of the Organ Donation "Honor Walk" Program in 2019. In 2021, I was honored with the Daisy Nurse Leader Award, becoming the first ICU Assistant Nurse Manager to receive this recognition. I am dedicated to mentoring emerging nurse leaders, supporting their transition into new roles, and fostering their professional growth and development. Currently, I am focused on driving improvements in throughput, efficiency, surgical site infection prevention measures, and care experience through strategic leadership, evidence-based practices, and a commitment to patient-centered care within the perioperative space.
