Ashley Coey, MSN, RN, is a Professional Development Specialist at Regional One Health. She is a dedicated nursing professional with a decade of experience specializing in neonatal and professional development. She began her career in 2015 as a NICU nurse, providing high-acuity neonatal care at Regional One Health. Her passion for clinical excellence and mentorship led her into nursing education, where she has continued to shape and support the next generation of nurses.
Ashley transitioned into academia in 2020, serving as a nursing instructor at Northwest Mississippi Community College until 2024. She then returned to Regional One Health as a NICU Nurse Educator, advancing evidence-based practice and staff competencies within the neonatal intensive care setting.
Currently, Ashley serves as a Professional Development Specialist, where she oversees Student Nurse Extern Orientation and the Nurse Residency Program. In this role, she is actively leading efforts to achieve residency program accreditation while supporting her organization’s broader journey toward Magnet® designation. With a strong foundation in neonatal nursing, clinical education, and professional development, Ashley is committed to elevating nursing practice, fostering clinical confidence, and strengthening workforce readiness within her organization.
