Nursing Clinical Implementation Specialist

Sheila Aguillo serves as the Nursing Clinical Implementation Specialist for Nursing Clinical Systems at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. In this role, she supports informatics initiatives, leads optimization efforts for clinical documentation, and collaborates with frontline nurses to improve the use of the electronic health record (EHR).
Sheila earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Nursing Informatics and holds CCRN certification in adult acute and critical care. She previously worked in both the Medical Intensive Care Unit and the Perioperative Care Unit (Preoperative and PACU), bringing a strong clinical foundation to her informatics work.
She is passionate about bridging the gap between technology and bedside practice to enhance documentation workflows and support safe, effective patient care.
