Zachary Polmounter, MSN, RN, CCRN, is the Clinical Practice Lead for the Perioperative Care Unit (Prep and Recovery) at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Drexel University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice at La Salle University. He also serves as an adjunct clinical instructor in a baccalaureate nursing program. He is passionate about nursing professional development, perioperative quality and safety, regulatory readiness, and building resilient workflows that support safe, efficient care across the perioperative continuum.
