I have worked for Kaiser Permanente for 20 years and found my home in the Post-Anesthetic Care Unit (PACU) at the Main Hospital at Kaiser Permanente Fremont Medical Center. Working in the unit as a Staff Nurse IV and also help in the Emergency Department during staffing needs. In June 2024 - June 2025, I served as Chair for the Unit Council under the facility's Professional Governance Council, overseeing the units' of Periop, Gstrointerstinal (GI), Interventional Radiology (IR) and Ambulatory Surgery Department (ASD) initiatives linked to the said council. I have two amazing kids who are now in college and they have been my source of inspiration throughout my career!
