My name is Mary Carrion, BSN, RN, MLIS, and I work as a perioperative quality coordinator at the University of Health Medical Center. Prior to this position, I worked as a perioperative nurse for 15 years in the circulator, scrub, assist, and charge roles. I am CNOR certified and a member of AORN.I am passionate about improving processes, which led me to my current position.
