With over 17 years of experience in medical imaging and healthcare systems, Shawn Dixon brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and technical leadership to her role. She began her career as a Radiologic Technologist, working in Interventional Radiology (2008–2010), the Cardiovascular Operating Room (2010–2012), and the Cardiac Catheterization Lab (2012–2019). In 2019, she transitioned into a Systems Administrator position supporting the Cardiac Cath Lab and Cardiology departments.
In her current role, Shawn is responsible for managing all data and system-related operations for these departments, ensuring the accuracy and functionality of critical clinical applications. She also serves as a liaison between clinical teams and external vendors, overseeing equipment procurement, repairs, and supply management. Her work plays a vital role in enhancing workflow efficiency, maintaining data integrity, and supporting high-quality patient care.
