PhD in Nursing Science from the School of Nursing of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (EERP-USP). Specialist in Teaching, Multiprofessional Preceptorship in Health, and Enterostomal Therapy. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Clinical experience as a nurse and technical supervisor, managing perioperative care for patients undergoing ambulatory, medium, and major surgeries, as well as clinical research. Research focuses on perioperative and oncological nursing, especially perioperative care for oncologic patients, colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel diseases, stomas, and surgical and oncological patient rehabilitation. Member of the Surgical Oncology Patient Rehabilitation Study Group (EERP-USP), registered with the CNPq Research Directory. Affiliated with SOBECC, AORN, ANA, and SOBEST. Currently a Professor at EERP-USP, in the Surgical Nursing area.
