Shonette Hing is a master's prepared registered nurse who has over 17 years of expertise in operating room practice. Shonette started as an operating room technician, transitioning into an operating room registered nurse role and is currently the Operating Room Nurse Team Leader covering the Cardiac, Liver and Transplant Service Lines at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital/ New York Presbyterian, in New York, NY. Shonette works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and is passionate for patient care and an commitment to excellence. She can foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, which has earned her the respect of her peers and subordinated alike. Shonette is known for her hands on approach in teaching and can be seen with her leading simulations with her team. Most notably, Shonette leads Perioperative ECMO simulations making props to assist in understanding.
