Nina Scharpp is an experienced operating room nurse with 11 years of perioperative practice encompassing almost all surgical specialties, including cardiac and robotic surgery. She has been in her role as charge nurse for four years at Seattle Children’s Hospital. She has been designated Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) since 2017. Nina is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Nursing and the UW Patient Safety & Quality program. As an active member of the Periop Microsystems Team at Seattle Children’s, she plays a key role in leading quality improvement initiatives to enhance surgical safety, efficiency, and patient outcomes. Nina has a strong passion for quality improvement and multidisciplinary collaboration, dedicating herself to advancing best practices for perioperative patients.
