Cathy Stoddart is a Quality Coach specializing in LEAN methodologies at Allegheny General Hospital, a Level I Academic QuaternaryTrauma Center in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, she serves as the LEAN coach for the PACU Lean Team. Ms. Stoddart played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Lean Innovation Center for Learning at Allegheny Health Network Allegheny General Hospital and the development of its five-member registered nurse LEAN coaching department.
Cathy holds a Master's degree in Nursing; Education Specialist from Franciscan University of Steubenville and is a distinguished alumna of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania's Executive Leadership Program. Her professional excellence was acknowledged through the Cameos of Caring® Nurse recognition awards in 2011, and she has shared her insights as a poster presenter at Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) in 2022, 2024, and 2025. Further demonstrating her commitment to service, she chairs Americanism for American Legion Auxiliary Unit 573.
