Nurse with 22 years of experience and Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Holds a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the National Postdoctoral Program (UNIFAL), as well as a PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from EERP-USP. Completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Research at Harvard Medical School and holds specializations in Biomedical Engineering (INATEL) and Medical-Surgical Nursing (UNIFESP). Additionally, completed advanced training in Ozone Therapy, Pro-Oxidative Therapies, and Applied Human Physiology (ABOZ).
Author of the Risk Assessment Scale for the Development of Injuries Resulting from Surgical Positioning of the Patient (ELPO), a tool adopted nationally and internationally. Active member of leading professional organizations, including the Brazilian Society of Surgical Center Nurses, Post-Anesthesia Recovery and Central Sterile Services (SOBECC), the Association of PeriOperative Registered Nurses (AORN), the European Wound Management Association (EWMA), and the Brazilian Ozone Therapy Association (ABOZ). Founding member and Vice-President of the Society of Entrepreneurial Nurses (SOBEE).
