My name is Amelia Dayucos,MSN,RN,CNOR , from Roseville, California. I am passionate about making a positive impact in the perioperative field. I've been working as a nurse for 30 years and have held various perioperative positions. Currently, I work as a Nursing Professional Development Practitioner at Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento. The position allows me to share my expertise in the perioperative setting and perianesthesia setting. Moreover, it provides me with an opportunity to effect change through EBP and research that influences clinical practice. Additionally, it allows me to make an impact on the nursing profession through mentoring, coaching, consultancy, being an advocate to the profession, learning facilitator, and a nursing leader. It's a joy to see how nursing practice continues to evolve for the betterment of humanity, and I'm grateful to be a part of this profession.
