Kara Gasiorowski, MSN, RN, CNOR, RNFA is currently a Professional Development Specialist at Penn Medicine Princeton Hospital in Plainsboro, NJ in the surgical services department. She is also adjunct faculty at Galen College of Nursing, where she helped develop and now teaches a pre-licensure perioperative nursing elective. Kara’s clinical background is in operating room nursing, orthopedic surgery, clinical education, and quality and patient safety. She has previously held leadership roles at New York Presbyterial Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center, Rothman Orthopedics, Johnson & Johnson, and the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN). She received her BSN and MSN in Nursing and Health Administration from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.
