Nurse leader with over two decades of experience in pediatric and adult cardiovascular services, currently serving as the Nurse Manager for the Pediatric Center for Cardiac Surgery and Image Guided Procedures at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. Michelle has helped to lead the development and training of the pediatric cardiac interventional team building a department from the ground up. As a former new graduate nurse who transitioned to a critical care environment, Michelle is passionate about the essential support needed in the transition to practice phase and psychological safety to retain staff and to ensure the highest level of quality patient care.
