Ashlee has over 12 years of nursing experience, including 10 years in the OR, 5 of which as a Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) at the Cleveland Clinic. She is currently in the role of Lead Thoracic Surgical Clinician Educator for the Thoracic service line. As a department educator she acts as a mentor training members of the healthcare team, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and professional growth within the department. Along with other department educators, she created a new orientation process for first assistants in the enterprise, incorporating simulation technology as an integral part of the education curriculum, enhancing hands-on training opportunities and improving clinical decision-making.
