Kirsten Anderson, MSN, RN, FACHE, CNOR, RNFA
Kirsten Anderson serves as the Clinical Nursing Director of Perioperative Services and Interventional Radiology at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Penn Medicine’s Level I Trauma Center in Philadelphia. She oversees the operating room, preoperative and postoperative care units, endoscopy, and interventional radiology, as well as two off-site procedural areas. With over 18 years of perioperative experience, Kirsten has held progressive leadership roles, including Nurse Manager of Cardiac Surgery and Interim Endoscopy Manager.
She is passionate about advancing surgical care through quality improvement, interdisciplinary collaboration, and staff mentorship. Kirsten has contributed to multiple successful Magnet redesignations and participates in system-level initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and staff engagement. She is a published author in the AORN Journal and an active presenter on perioperative topics. Kirsten is certified in perioperative nursing (CNOR), a Registered Nurse First Assistant, and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
