Teegan is a dedicated registered nurse with over 12 years of experience, primarily in surgical services. Her passion for surgery was sparked early in her career while working in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit, where she provided critical care to post-operative patients. Since then, she has gained comprehensive expertise across all peri-anesthesia areas, including Pre-Op, PACU, and Phase II Recovery.
In December 2024, Teegan joined AdventHealth as an Assistant Nurse Manager for Pre-Op and Phase II. Prior to this role, she served as a Nurse Manager overseeing Pre-Admission Testing, Pre-Op, PACU, and Phase II, where she led a remarkable turnaround in patient satisfaction—elevating scores from 157th to 3rd in the company. Her leadership and commitment to excellence earned her a Service Excellence Award, and she also served as a Service Excellence Ambassador.
Teegan is NIHSS certified and plans to further her education in the coming year. She is passionate about professional growth and is excited about the opportunities ahead.
Outside of work, Teegan enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children. As an active family, they love working out, visiting theme and water parks, and supporting their children’s activities in baseball, swimming, and gymnastics.
