Joseph Velasco BSN, RN-CPAN is a registered nurse in the PACU at Advocate Christ Medical Center. Joseph received his bachelor's in science of nursing from Chamberlain University in May of 2019. Joseph began working as a float nurse for Advocate Christ Medical Center in June of 2019. In January of 2020 Joseph transferred to PACU and became a certified peri anesthesia nurse in April of 2021. Joseph serves as the PACU unit chair for the Hospital's Professional Governance Council. Joseph has participated in Volunteer activities such as baking cookies for the Ronald McDonald house and handing out produce for the hospital Food Farmacy initiative.
