Karla Sadecky BSN RN CNOR has been a nurse for over 12 years, 8 of those years being in the operating room at a level 2 trauma hospital. Karla earned her RN at Citizens School of Nursing and accomplished her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2023. She also earned her certification as an operating room nurse in 2023. Karla practiced as the clinical coordinator for general, robotics, and gynecology surgery for a few years then became the charge nurse of the operating room and trauma surgery clinical coordinator. Now, Karla is the Perioperative Nursing Professional Development Specialist at AHN Forbes hospital. She enjoys teaching courses and orienting new staff to the operating room. Karla is also a veteran of the United States Air Force where she worked on jet engines for 6 years.
