I was hired as a Nursing Professional Development Specialist for seven surgery centers at AHN in September 2023. I have nine years of nursing experience, primarily in the operating room. My background also includes experience as a nursing school instructor and a casual mental health nurse. Educational background includes an Associate's Degree in Business, a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Studies from Duquesne University, an Associate's Degree in Nursing (where she was class president), a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and a Master's Degree in Nursing.
I am dedicated to professional development and patient safety as evidenced by my strong commitment to staff education, CNOR (certification), and involvement in AORN and GPC-ANPD committees.
