Professional Development Specialist

I am a Professional Development Specialist for Perioperative Services for Allegheny Health Network, Jefferson Hospital. I have been a registered nurse for 25 years, with 23 of those years being in the Operating Room. For the last 14 years, I have worked in the Professional Development role for all Perioperative Services. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and Master of Science in Nursing Education from Walden University.
I am a member of AORN, Pittsburgh chapter and a contributing writer for AORN's The Stitch, a publication dedicated to the novice OR nurse. Being a certified Operating Room nurse since 2017, I chose to be a certification coach for CCI enabling my facility to obtain the designation of CNOR strong in 2025.
