Jacqueline began her career as a Perioperative Nurse, dedicating 13 years to delivering exceptional patient care in surgical settings. Her passion for process improvement and technology led her to pursue an advanced degree in Nursing Informatics, propelling her into a pivotal role within UMMS's IT department, where she has contributed expertise for 14 years.
Jacqueline’s deep clinical experience, combined with her informatics acumen, has made her an invaluable collaborator on numerous Epic EHR implementation projects. She is recognized for her leadership in enhancing the Perioperative Nursing Data Set (PNDS), transforming it into a more effective Perioperative Care Plan that optimizes patient outcomes and supports nursing workflows.
