Anne Troyer is an experienced and dedicated nursing leader currently serving as Nurse Manager within the Cardiothoracic Nursing team at University of Iowa Health Care. In this capacity, she helps oversee perioperative and cardiothoracic services — ensuring safe, high-quality care for patients undergoing complex cardiac and thoracic procedures, and supporting a multidisciplinary team of nurses and surgical staff.
With more than three decades of hands-on experience in the operating room (OR), Anne brings deep clinical knowledge and practical expertise to her role. Over the course of her 33-year career, she has developed a strong foundation in surgical nursing, perioperative care, and team coordination. For the past 14 years, she has taken on leadership and management responsibilities — applying her clinical experience to guiding staff, coordinating care, and contributing to unit-level operations and patient safety.
