Overview/Abstract: ASCs have taken front stage as healthcare’s economic growth engine attracting surgeon and private investors nationwide. Revenue and increased ability to perform orthopedics, spine, and other complex surgeries is changing the ASC landscape, it’s also highlighting the need to rethink the support structure required to support the surgical demands. While ASCs have historically remained independent and competitive within markets, this presentation shares an innovative method for ASCs to collaborate with a shared services model for off-site sterile processing.
