Description: The purpose of this poster study is to identify and address the factors contributing to delays in on-time starts in the Operating room. Data was collected over a three month period with the assistance of OR staff to track start times and document the reasons for delays. The data was categorized to distinguish the causes of late starts, such as physician-related delays, staffing issues, and other contributing factors. We have not previously conducted a study on this matter and are reviewing the collected data to assess its impact on our start times. Based on the findings, we are also working to develop a targeted plan aimed at reducing these delays and improving overall efficiency.
